Licensed IP collaboration

Make the character recognizable. Make the product workable.

YOUFU translates authorized characters and brand worlds into candy form, edible graphics, assortment logic, and retail packaging while keeping ownership and approvals explicit.

Character-led custom candy shapes and product presentation
01

Translation, not decoration

Four ways the IP can live in the product.

The strongest route depends on recognition, production tolerance, pack size, consumer age, price point, and how much detail must survive at candy scale.

Form

Character silhouette

Molded or hand-piped shapes that preserve the defining outline and expression.

Surface

Edible graphics

Food-grade print or decoration for facial detail, logos, patterns, and story cues.

Assortment

World building

Multiple characters, icons, flavors, or scenes designed as a collectible or gifting set.

Pack

Retail narrative

Packaging that establishes context, improves recognition, and protects delicate forms.

02

Responsibility map

Clear ownership protects the project.

YOUFU can develop and manufacture the product, but only the rights holder or authorized buyer can authorize use of protected assets and grant final brand approval.

IP approval gates

Do not let a beautiful sample become an unapproved product.

Each project is mapped to the licensor's actual process. These gates are a practical starting point, not a substitute for the buyer's licensing agreement.

  1. Authorization verifiedLicensed territory, product category, channel, and term are understood.
  2. Reference route selectedKey features are prioritized for form, print, assortment, and pack.
  3. Development sample reviewedRecognition and manufacturability are tested together.
  4. Licensor artwork approvalRequired files and physical references are submitted through the buyer's approval route.
  5. Production reference lockedApproved tolerances and quality checkpoints become part of production control.
