Buyer FAQ
Resolve the practical questions early.
Answers for brand owners, importers, distributors, retail buyers, and product teams evaluating a custom confectionery partner.
01What products can YOUFU manufacture?
Our core categories are aerated marshmallows, gummies and jellies, and hard candy. Our strongest differentiation is in hand-piped shapes, edible printing, custom molds, licensed IP concepts, and retail-ready packaging.
02What can be customized?
Depending on the format, projects can cover shape, mold, flavor, color, texture, selected functional ingredients, edible print, piece weight, inner pack, outer packaging, and private-label artwork.
03What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the process, mold, formula, packaging, and production setup. Existing formats can usually start lower than a new shape, formula, and pack. Share the target product and market for a useful starting point.
04Can you develop licensed IP products?
Yes. We can translate approved character references into candy forms, edible graphics, and packaging. The buyer must provide valid licensing authorization and approved brand assets before development begins.
05How does sampling work?
We first confirm the commercial brief and feasibility, then define sample scope, cost, and approval stages. Custom molds, formulas, or packaging can add separate approval gates before the final pre-production sample.
06Which certifications and documents are available?
YOUFU maintains food-safety certification, food-facility registration, social compliance audit, facility authorization, testing, and export documentation materials. The current scope and validity are reviewed against each target market before order confirmation.
07How long does a custom project take?
Timing depends on mold development, formula work, packaging, testing, and the approval speed on both sides. A project using an existing format moves faster than a new shape, formula, and pack. We map the critical path after reviewing the brief.
08Which markets do you support?
Our team supports international buyers across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and other export markets. Product, label, and documentation requirements are confirmed for the destination and sales channel of each project.
